Condor Wines

Condor Wines are a UK based independent specialist importer of Argentine, Chilean and Uruguayan wines established in 2011 by Lee Evans and his wife Maria, a native of Argentina.

Condor Wines had developed a new wine brand, ‘Cepas’ to appeal to their on-trade customers. ‘Cepas’ translated from Spanish to English means ‘Of the Vine’ and from this came the inspiration behind the label design.

A beautiful, bespoke, wood block style vine image was chosen along with a clean, modern typeface and a simple colour palette. The design choices reinforce the quality and heritage of the liquid and the premium feel that Lee envisaged. Other details include a tactile hi-build on the text and image with a contrasting copper foil used for the grape variety and cap which all contribute to making the label feel really special.
