The Compassionate Friends
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a charitable organisation of bereaved parents, siblings, and grandparents dedicated to the support and care of other similarly bereaved family members who have suffered the death of a child or children of any age and from any cause.
TCF was in the process of commissioning a new website as part of their expansion and modernisation. This was an ideal opportunity to refresh their logo and branding. Many long-standing members were very attached to the current logo and so keeping the spirit of the original logo was very important. Subtle refinements were made to their mark in a very sympathetic manner and a clean and modern typeface was chosen. The result was something still recognisable but softer and better suited to the charity’s ethos. After this success, I have gone on to work closely with the charity and now design and produce all marketing assets including quarterly magazines and newsletter, stationery, leaflets, posters, annual reports, and social media images. Their brand is now unified across all digital and print marketing representing and reinforcing brand recognition.
